«Esperadme en el cielo» is the contemporary novel by Maruja Torres, published by Booket in paperback (208 pages, in Spanish).
The narrator finds herself in the afterlife with Terenci Moix and Manuel Vázquez Montalbán, and with them returns to the settings of her sentimental education: from the Raval to Hollywood, from Alexandria to the Retiro, always near the neighborhood cinemas. Despite the favorability of her new situation, the three must collaborate on a common enterprise.
This title won the Nadal Prize in 2009 and its paperback edition appeared in 2010.
A novel for adults interested in friendship, memory and movies.
