«Esta boca es mía» is Joaquín Sabina's satirical poetry collection, published by Ediciones B in paperback (128 pages, in Spanish).
The book brings together satirical verses in which Joaquín Sabina turns street noise and current affairs into poetic material. With irony and a roguish touch, the author portrays characters and situations from the Spain of his time and champions the sonnet as a genre of opinion.
«Esta boca es mía» was published on June 8, 2005 and includes illustrations by Gustavo Otero.
Aimed at a general audience, it is especially suitable for readers of satirical poetry and fans of Joaquín Sabina.
Joaquín Ramón Martínez Sabina is a Spanish musician, singer, composer, and poet. His songs usually treat love, heartbreaks and society with significant use of literary figures as in the baroque-literature style.
