«Esta noche vendré tarde» is the novel by Huguette Perol, published by Ediciones B, S.A. in paperback (140 pages, in Spanish).
The story is set in Palestine, a territory claimed by two peoples, the Palestinian and the Jewish, in a conflict that seems to have no way out. Huguette Perol approaches that reality through ordinary characters and human relationships, and composes a realistic account of daily life in the midst of adversity, inviting reflection on the consequences of that confrontation.
The work was published in 1989 and appears in the Vía Libre collection of Ediciones B.
For readers of contemporary fiction interested in novels with historical and social background, particularly about the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
