«¿Está usted de broma, Sr. Feynman?» is the memoir by Richard P. Feynman, published by Alianza Editorial in paperback (408 pages, in Spanish).
The book gathers anecdotes from Feynman's life told in the first person: from repairing radios as a child and his time on the Manhattan Project at Los Alamos, where he also amused himself opening safes, to playing in a Brazilian samba school and meeting physicists such as Einstein, Von Neumann and Pauli. The narrative shows his humor, his curiosity and a very personal way of approaching science and life.
Subtitle: «Aventuras de un curioso personaje tal como le fueron referidas a Ralph Leighton». Translation by Luis Bou García. Libros Singulares collection from Alianza.
Aimed at readers curious about the lives of scientists and biographies told with humor; reading it requires no prior knowledge of physics.

Richard Phillips Feynman was an American theoretical physicist. He shared the 1965 Nobel Prize in Physics with Julian Schwinger and Shin'ichirō Tomonaga "for their fundamental work in quantum electrodynamics (QED), with deep-ploughing consequences for the physics of elementary particles". He is also known for his work in the path integral formulation of quantum mechanics, the theory of the physics of the superfluidity of supercooled liquid helium, and the parton model. Feynman developed a pictorial representation scheme for the mathematical expressions describing the behavior of subatomic particles, which later became known as Feynman diagrams and remains widely used.
