«Estrellas y planetas» is the astronomy guide for young people by David H. Levy, published by Debate in hardcover (64 pages, in Spanish).
Estrellas y planetas covers the solar system and the night sky: it explains the Sun, Mercury and Venus, the Moon, comets, impacts, stars, the telescope and the planets, with color photographs and drawings that bring astronomy closer to young readers.
The first edition (1996) of «Estrellas y planetas» belongs to the Descubrimientos collection, co-published by Debate and Círculo de Lectores, in large format (31 x 26 cm).
It is aimed at young readers curious about astronomy and at those seeking a first approach to the solar system.

David Howard (Doveed) Levy is a Canadian-American amateur astronomer, science writer, and discoverer of comets and minor planets. He is best known for co-discovering Comet Shoemaker–Levy 9 in 1993, which collided with Jupiter in 1994 in the first observed planetary-scale impact in the Solar System.
