Synopsis of Etrangers

Paul Sturgis, un septuagénaire fatigué et solitaire, passe ses journées à flâner dans les rues de Londres. Évitant les festivités de Noël, il s'échappe à Venise où il rencontre Vicky Gardner, une quinquagénaire pétillante récemment divorcée. De retour en Angleterre, une ancienne flamme, Sarah, refait surface dans sa vie. Ces deux femmes bouleversent les introspections de Paul et déclenchent une transformation intérieure. L'isolement habituel de Paul entre en conflit avec la prise de conscience de sa solitude et de son besoin de compagnie.
