«Evangelio 2006 comentado día a día» is a book of biblical meditation by José Pedro Manglano, published by Desclée De Brouwer in paperback (384 pages).
It gathers the gospel text proclaimed at Mass for each day of the year and accompanies it with brief commentaries to read, understand, and turn it into prayer. It invites readers to let the Word permeate personal life, to enter into dialogue with Jesus, and to ask what each passage seeks to teach in light of one's own emotions, actions, and concerns.
It is part of the «Hablar con Jesús» collection and corresponds to the first edition, published in 2005; the book falls within the genre of biblical readings and meditations.
For Catholic readers who wish to accompany each day's reading of the Mass gospel with a brief personal meditation.
