In 'Experience', Martin Amis invites us on an intimate journey through his life, his books, and the stories behind them, establishing himself as one of the most outstanding contemporary narrators. Supported by literary figures such as Vladimir Nabokov and Saul Bellow, Amis offers us a masterful tour of his memoirs, exploring the mechanisms of memory and truth in fiction. Marked by the presence of his father, Kingsley Amis, and the tragic story of his cousin Lucy Partington, this autobiography becomes a masterpiece that merges the truthful with hypothetical reflection, revealing how personal experiences can be transformed into a great novel.

Sir Martin Louis Amis was an English novelist, essayist, memoirist, screenwriter and critic. He is best known for his novels Money (1984) and London Fields (1989).
