«Fabulosas narraciones por historias» is the novel by Antonio Orejudo, published by Tusquets Editores in paperback (384 pages, in Spanish).
In 1920s Madrid, three students at the Residencia de Estudiantes —Santos, Martiniano and Patricio— experience hazing and literary gatherings while a secret plan to create the Generation of '27 takes shape. The novel parodies literary registers and mixes fiction with real figures such as Juan Ramón Jiménez and Ortega y Gasset.
Volume 639 of the Andanzas collection. The work was originally published in 1996; this Tusquets edition came out in 2007. It won the Premio Tigre Juan.
For readers of contemporary Spanish fiction and literary humor.
