«Federico Sánchez se despide de ustedes» is Jorge Semprún's memoir, published by Tusquets Editores in paperback (320 pages, in Spanish).
Jorge Semprún and his clandestine alias «Federico Sánchez» come together in these memoirs to review their lives: a comfortable childhood in the Austrias neighborhood, deportation to Buchenwald, and the politics of democratic Spain. Written from reflection, the book avoids gossip and offers portraits and anecdotes from Spain's collective memory.
Published in December 1993, it belongs to the Andanzas collection of Tusquets Editores, as number 202.
For readers interested in memoirs, political history, and biographies about 20th-century Spain and the figure of Jorge Semprún.

Jorge Semprún Maura was a Spanish writer and politician who lived in France most of his life and wrote primarily in French. From 1953 to 1962, during the dictatorship of Francisco Franco, Semprún lived clandestinely in Spain working as an organizer for the exiled Communist Party of Spain, but was expelled from the party in 1964. After the death of Franco and the change to a democratic government, he served as Minister of Culture in Spain's socialist government from 1988 to 1991.
