«Feliz siesta» is the illustrated children's story by Leticia Ruifernández Nogués, published by Editorial Kókinos in paperback (28 pages), in Spanish.
A little girl wakes up her dog and a game ensues that ends with the animal tucking her in so she sleeps happily. The minimal text and subtle watercolors turn an everyday anecdote into a tender poem: it names basic gestures, moving away, coming closer, searching, finding, asking and giving, like the movements with which babies explore their surroundings.
The text and illustrations are by Leticia Ruifernández Nogués. The edition was published in 2013 and falls within early learning children's literature and illustrated stories.
Aimed at babies and young children; ideal for reading as a family at naptime or before bed, and also useful in nursery schools.
