«Fen» is the romantic novel by Freya North, published by Arrow in paperback (370 pages, in English).
Fen McCabe, a 28-year-old archivist, is still in love with Julius Fetherstone, a 19th-century sculptor. Her work at an art foundation leads her to investigate a lost sculpture by the artist and to meet Matt Holden, editor of an art magazine, and James Caulfield, a gardener who owns two small works by Fetherstone.
«Fen» is the second novel in the McCabe Sisters series. The work was originally published in 2001; this Arrow edition is from 2002.
A novel for readers of contemporary romance and chick lit, with a protagonist torn between two men.
Freya North is a British writer, active since 1996, and one of the precursors of chick lit. Her novels, which have been critical and financial successes, centre on strong female characters and their raunchy exploits.
