«Feuilles volantes» is a collection of aphorisms by Georges Hyvernaud, published by La Dilettante in paperback (178 pages, in French).
The book brings together fragments and aphorisms written between 1935 and 1950, years of sadness, lies and captivity in a camp. Hyvernaud portrays small people who squeeze together and rot with a remnant of life, and develops his particular 'aphorism-river': minimal, twisted sentences that gradually release their juice and meaning.
For those who read French and are interested in twentieth-century French literature, with short texts of a bitter and introspective tone.
