«Fica Comigo Esta Noite» is Inês Pedrosa's short story collection, published in 2007 by Dom Quixote in paperback (136 pages, in Portuguese).
In one of the stories, a father asks his son to stay with him that night. These are tales of ordinary people shaken by life's misunderstandings: lives crossed by desire, European identities in crisis, betrayals and complicities that know no borders.
For readers with Portuguese proficiency who appreciate contemporary short fiction about relationships, desire, and missed connections.
Inês Pedrosa is a Portuguese journalist, novelist, short story writer, children's writer and playwright. She was director of the Casa Fernando Pessoa. Her novels have also been published in Brazil, Croatia, Ukraine, Germany, Italy and Spain.
