«Filomena Ficalapota» is the children's book written by Maite Carranza, published by Cruïlla in paperback (32 pages, in Catalan).
Filomena is a girl who makes mistakes again and again, but always with the best of intentions. When she waters a neighbor's plant, the water triggers a trail of mishaps that reaches a father reluctant to take his children to the movies and a rather vain vegetable. A humorous story designed for easy reading.
The illustrations are by Margarita Menéndez Gutiérrez. «Filomena Ficalapota» was published in 2002 as the first title in Cruïlla's «Los piratas» collection.
For early readers aged 6 to 8, with cursive lettering and humorous situations.
