Fira e a Lua Cheia

Synopsis of Fira e a Lua Cheia

«Fira e a Lua Cheia» is Laura Driscoll's children's fantasy novel, published by Verbo in 2006 in paperback (120 pages, in Portuguese).

Fira is a light fairy who never asks for help. When the fireflies lack light, she solves the case; when three new fairies arrive, she takes care of them; and on the full moon night she offers to illuminate the underground grottoes. The effort exhausts her and her light goes out: perhaps that night will be the darkest for her.

The book is listed in Portugal's National Reading Plan as recommended for the third year of schooling, intended for autonomous reading.

For young readers who already read independently and enjoy fairy adventures.
