«Flat Stanley: His Original Adventure!» is the children's adventure novel by Jeff Brown, published by HarperCollins in paperback (96 pages, in English).
Stanley Lambchop wakes up as a flat boy after a bulletin board falls on him while he sleeps. He then discovers that his new shape allows him to slide under doors, travel in an envelope, and fly like a kite. That same condition leads him to confront some art thieves at the museum.
First title in the «Flat Stanley» series, originally published in 1964; this edition commemorates the 50th anniversary.
Recommended for readers aged 6 to 10 who are starting chapter books, with humor and zany situations.
