«Flieg mit mir, kleiner Drache!» is the children's story by Maja von Vogel, published by Loewe Verlag in hardcover (30 pages, in German).
Dix, a small and clumsy dragon, is determined to declare his love to Rosa, a little dragoness. Although nothing goes right for him and he stumbles at every step, he trusts that she will want to be his friend. The text replaces nouns with pictures, a system designed so that children can follow the story even while they are still learning to read.
It belongs to the Bilderdrache series, a collection for learning to read with images, with illustrations by Silke Voigt.
Aimed at children aged 5 and up, it can be read together or independently.
