«Follamantes» is Carlos Salem Sola's collection of poetic prose, published in 2014 by MueveTuLengua in paperback (136 pages, in Spanish).
In these texts, Salem observes love and desire through his own kaleidoscope: small gestures turned into caresses, sounds into displays of affection, and desire as almost cosmic matter. He plays with the contrast between the crude and the emotive, with irony and direct language, in scenes where the physical and the intimate blend.
First volume of MueveTuLengua's Poetic Prose collection, published in Madrid in May 2014.
For readers of contemporary Spanish-language poetry seeking an ironic, direct and emotive take on love and desire.
