«Foot d'amour» is the young-adult novel by Hubert Ben Kemoun, published by Thierry Magnier Editions in paperback (90 pages, in French).
During the final of the inter-school cup, Sylvain, the team's goalkeeper and a CM2 pupil, tries to stay focused on the field. Shortly before the match, Solenn kissed him and, from the stands, Célia blows him affectionate gestures; caught between the ball and these signals, he struggles to concentrate on stopping the opponent's shots.
Novel in the children's and young-adult category, published by Thierry Magnier Editions in 2005; ISBN-10: 2844203973.
For children aged 6 to 9, especially those starting to read novels and who enjoy stories about soccer and first loves.
