«François Aussoleil (1861-1928)» is the political biography by Paul Estrade and Mouny Estrade, published by Puy Fraud in 2021 in paperback (304 pages, in French).
A work that recovers the figure of François Aussoleil, French journalist and deputy, first socialist deputy of Corrèze in 1919 and first communist deputy of the department in 1921. The book reviews his career as a teacher, accountant and contributor to L'Humanité, his defense of women's suffrage, his proposal for a single, free school up to age 18, and his opposition to the occupation of the Ruhr, colonial repression in Morocco and the war in Syria. It includes a selection of his writings, published and unpublished.
The authors also wrote the biography of Léon Lanot, first maquisard of Corrèze, published in 2011. The edition includes illustrations, letters and an illustrated cover.
Recommended for readers interested in twentieth-century French political history, the labor movement and biographies of socialist and communist figures.
