«Franklin magicien» is the children's book by Sharon Jennings, Paulette Bourgeois and Brenda Clark, published by Hachette in paperback (64 pages, in French).
Franklin, the little turtle, wants to become a magician and thinks a cape and a magic wand are enough. The story shows him that pulling off tricks like disappearing requires practice, not just props. His desire to play the piano also appears, with the same lesson of effort.
First volume of the Franklin series, published in 2003 within the Ma première bibliothèque rose collection.
Aimed at children aged 6 to 9 who are starting to read, particularly those beginning French.
