«Frog on a Log?» is the children's picture book by Kes Gray and Jim Field, published by Scholastic in paperback (32 pages, in English).
Frog doesn't want to sit on a log: Cat explains that each animal has a seat that rhymes with its name. Frog's questions turn the rule into a game of words and sounds, with cumulative rhymes and cartoonish illustrations, leading to an ending that invites readers to keep guessing what other animals get.
The book is the first title in the Oi Frog and Friends series.
Suitable for early readers and for reading aloud at home or in the classroom, with a playful focus on rhyme and phonics.
Kes Gray is a British author of children's books.
