«Frustrés» is volume 1 of Les Frustrés, the humor comic by Claire Bretécher, published by Presses Pocket in paperback (200 pages, in French).
The volume collects short strips originally published in Le Nouvel Observateur. With precise dialogue and an ironic tone, Bretécher portrays Parisian characters from the intellectual and progressive world: their contradictions, affectations and small everyday frustrations, as a social and manners critique.
This paperback edition is from 1987; the series Les Frustrés was originally published from 1975 onwards.
For adult readers with some level of French, due to the abundant Parisian slang in the dialogue and its social-critique humor.
