«Fuera de lugar» is the young adult novel by Francesco D'Adamo, published by EDICIONES SM in paperback (184 pages, in Spanish).
Ten years after Iqbal's murder, Fátima and María follow very different paths: one emigrates to Italy and works as a housemaid, where she never quite feels welcome; the other stays in Pakistan and keeps alive the defense of children's rights that Iqbal began. Distance fails to break their friendship or their commitment to a fairer world.
Second installment of Iqbal's story, part of the Gran Angular collection (no. 323); original Italian title: Dalla parte sbagliata.
Recommended for young people aged 12 to 18; for readers interested in realistic stories about friendship, immigration and human rights.
