«Garzón: Juez o parte» is the unauthorized biography of Baltasar Garzón by José Díaz Herrera, published by La Esfera de los Libros in hardcover.
Critical biography of Baltasar Garzón, the Spanish judge who pursued the crimes of the GAL and became famous for indicting Augusto Pinochet. Díaz Herrera questions Garzón's image as a star magistrate and maintains that, after twenty-five years of career, no sentence of his is known; he would have acted as judge and as party, more attentive to public projection than to impartiality.
Edition published in 2007, with 887 pages and illustrated dust jacket.
For readers of political biographies and investigative journalism, especially interested in Spanish justice and state cases such as the GAL.
