«Gato Negro Gato Blanco» is the children's picture book by Andrés Guerrero, published by Anaya Infantil y Juvenil in paperback (80 pages, in Spanish).
Gato Negro is a stray cat and Gato Blanco, a house cat. When their paths cross, each discovers a different way of understanding freedom: the white cat learns to fend for himself on the street and the black cat leaves his loneliness behind when he finds a companion for adventures. A reunion with the girl who looked after the white cat will present him with a decision between his quiet life and his new shared life. A fable about freedom and friendship.
It belongs to the Sopa de Libros collection from Anaya, aimed at readers aged 6 to 10. The author is also the illustrator of the work.
