«Go Tell It to the Toucan!» is a children's picture book by Colin West, published by Walker Books Ltd in paperback (32 pages, in English).
In the jungle, the animals look for the toucan to announce elephant Jumbo's birthday party. While they find him, the news passes from animal to animal in a funny chain of communication. With repetitive text and a surprise ending, the story unfolds like a long joke aimed at early readers.
This edition is from April 9, 2001; the work was originally published in 1990.
Suitable for children starting to read English and for family storytime sessions.
