«Gol 9. El retorn del capità» is the children's and young adult football novel by Luigi Garlando, published by La Galera, SAU in paperback (136 pages, in Catalan).
Tomi has left Barça to return to playing with the Cebetes team, and Loris returns to his old club. Despite the apparent normality, something does not fit: Tomi is anxious, Gaston is not well, and the Cebetes are not acting like a real team. The plot follows their attempts to recover the collective spirit and reach the final.
The work is the ninth volume of the «Gol!» series. The translation from Italian is by Oriol Sánchez and the illustrations are by Stefano Turconi.
Suitable for readers aged 8 to 10, especially for those who enjoy stories about football and friendship.
