«Grabuge et l'indomptable Amélie» is the young-adult novel by Elvire De Brissac, published by Gallimard in paperback (144 pages, in French).
The adventures of Grabuge and the indomitable Amélie begin with an accident: a crane slips under the porch just as the principal's car enters, and the impact sends a wing, two headlights and a glovebox flying. From there, a school adventure unfolds with mix-ups and carefree humor.
Illustrated by Claude Lapointe and published in December 1990, it is part of Gallimard's children's catalog, in the Folio Cadet collection.
A French-language read aimed at young readers fond of zany school stories and situational humor.
