«Groucho i Chico advocats» is the collection of radio scripts by the Marx Brothers, Michael Barson and Màrius Serra (Columna, hardcover, 69 pages).
The book recovers the radio scripts of the comedy series that Groucho and Chico Marx starred in on the NBC for six months, from November 1932. Groucho plays a lawyer and Chico his assistant, with entanglements and absurd dialogues typical of the duo's humor. The materials, found decades after their broadcast, were published for the first time.
It is the third edition within the Fora de Col·lecció collection and is published in Catalan. The original title, 'Flywheel, Shyster, and Flywheel: The Marx Brothers' Lost Radio Show', was published in 1988.
Recommended for admirers of the Marx Brothers and classic radio comedy.
Màrius Serra i Roig is a Spanish writer, journalist, translator and television maker.
