«Guillermo, ratón de biblioteca» is the children's story by Asun Balzola, published by Anaya in hardcover (40 pages, in Spanish).
Guillermo is a mouse who lives among the books of a library. When his cousins invite him to a party in the garden, only a hallway guarded by two Siamese cats separates his world from adventure. The mouse will have to decide whether fear can overcome his desire to discover what lies outside.
Published in 2001, it belongs to Anaya's Sopa de Libros collection (no. 58), is recommended for readers aged 4 to 8, and includes illustrations by the author herself.
This story is suitable for early readers and for reading aloud at home or in the classroom, and will appeal to those looking for animal stories.
