«Habitación de hotel» is the poetry collection by Uruguayan writer Cristina Peri Rossi, published in 2007 by Plaza & Janés, in hardcover (80 pages, in Spanish).
The collection turns the hotel room into an intimate, reflective space: the poetic voice moves between the bed, the window and the television, and in that solitary night emerge loneliness, desire and the presence of the body.
It is part of the Obras Diversas series from Plaza & Janés. The work won the 11th Ciudad de Torrevieja Poetry Prize.
For a general audience interested in Latin American poetry and the work of Cristina Peri Rossi.
