Habitaciones Privadas is a collection of short stories by the writer Cristina Peri Rossi, offering a subtle and ironic vision of the desires, conflicts, and illusions of contemporary human beings. The stories share urban settings and unfold in enclosed spaces such as after-hours clubs, hotel rooms, television sets, or offices. The small everyday dramas and the search for friendship, love, or sex reveal the most conflicting aspects of late capitalism.
Cristina Peri Rossi is a Uruguayan novelist, poet, translator, and author of short stories.
