«Hacia el trono de los dioses» is Herbert Tichy's travel account, published by Revista ALTAIR S.L. in paperback (280 pages, in Spanish).

Tichy, a Viennese geologist, recounts his journey in the late 1930s after reading Sven Hedin: by motorcycle through Kashmir and the Hindu Kush, Burma, on foot in the Himalayas, the Gurla Mandatha (7,200 m), and a clandestine entry into Tibet disguised as a pilgrim. A tale full of love for people and landscapes, with humor.
