«Hallfreds Saga» is the historical novel by S.H.B. Svensson, published by Antigonos Verlag in paperback (94 pages, in Swedish).
Complete reprint of the original 1864 edition, faithful to the text of the saga of Hallfreðr vandræðaskáld, a tenth-century Icelandic poet. The work narrates his life and his transition from Norse paganism to Christianity under the influence of King Olaf Tryggvason, within the tradition of the Icelandic sagas.
The subtitle indicates that it is a nytryck oförändrat (unchanged reprint) of the 1864 edition. The text is in Swedish.
Intended for readers interested in medieval Norse literature, Icelandic sagas, and facsimile editions of historical texts.
