«Harry Flashman» is the historical adventure novel by George MacDonald Fraser, published by Edhasa in paperback (456 pages, in Spanish).
Harry Flashman, a cowardly, boastful and deceitful soldier, finds himself caught up in the wars of the nineteenth-century British Empire. After fleeing a forced marriage in Scotland, his fate takes him to India and Afghanistan, where his survival instinct and talent for imposture make him a hero in spite of himself, among hussars and colonial battles.
First installment of the Flashman Papers series, translated by María Antonia Menini; original title Flashman (1969). Volume 190 of Edhasa's Pocket collection.
Aimed at readers of historical and adventure fiction who enjoy irony and roguish protagonists.
