«Harry Flashman» is the historical adventure novel by George MacDonald Fraser, published by Edhasa in hardcover (464 pages, in Spanish).
Harry Flashman is a boastful, cowardly and unscrupulous soldier who, expelled from boarding school and fleeing a forced marriage, ends up in India. There, his survival instinct, his talent for imposture and chance turn him into an involuntary hero of the Anglo-Indian wars and the British retreat from Kabul, narrated with irony.
First installment of the Flashman Papers series. Translation by Maria Antonia Menini. The original work was published in 1969 under the title Flashman.
For readers of historical and adventure fiction who enjoy a cynical antihero and ironic humor.
