«Herba d'enamorar» is the contemporary fiction novel by Teresa Moure, published by Edicions La Campana in paperback (406 pages, in Catalan).
Starting from the figure of Descartes, the novel imagines his hidden passions from the perspective of three women: Queen Christina of Sweden, Hélène Jans, and a current student researching the philosopher. Seventeenth-century letters, emails, and spells vindicate private life and passions such as love, knowledge, and friendship, with words as comfort and pleasure.

For readers seeking contemporary fiction with female voices and a historical look at private life.
