«Hermón» is the sixth novel in the «Caballo de Troya» series by J. J. Benítez, published by Editorial Planeta in hardcover (440 pages, in Spanish).
The novel follows the diary of the American major who traveled to Christ's Palestine, blending technical and historical data with episodes Benítez considers silenced by the evangelists: Jesus's appearances after his resurrection, the first schism among the disciples, and a DNA analysis, up to the longed-for third time jump.
The work is part of the collection «Los otros mundos de J. J. Benítez» and was originally published in 1999.
For readers who follow the «Caballo de Troya» series or are interested in fiction that blends historical documentation and religion.
