Children of the Mind is the highly anticipated and brilliant conclusion to the popular series that began with Ender's Game. On Lusitania, a unique planet in the galaxy, three intelligent species coexist: the pequeninos, humans, and the Hive Queen and her insectoids. The planet has been condemned by the Star Council due to the descolada, a virus lethal to humans but essential to the biology of the pequeninos. Thanks to Jane, Ender's allied artificial intelligence, he has created two new beings, true Children of the Mind, who join him in the difficult struggle to save Lusitania. A speculation on being and consciousness that does not shy away from reflecting on religion, politics, and power.
