«Historia de España» is the historical essay by César Vidal and Federico Jiménez Losantos, published by Booket in paperback format (256 pages, in Spanish).
A popular history work that reviews the history of Spain from the first settlers to the Catholic Monarchs, presented by its authors as a vision far from nationalist narratives and political distortions. The book arises from the debates in the history section that Vidal led on the radio show La Mañana, directed by Losantos, and seeks to recover a historical memory they consider falsified, with a critical and accessible approach for the general public.
It belongs to Booket's Divulgación collection. The cover shows the subtitle «De los primeros pobladores a los Reyes Católicos».
Intended for readers interested in the history of Spain from a popularising perspective with a marked vindicative character.
César Vidal Manzanares is a Spanish historian, author, political commentator, and radio host.
