«Historia de mi infancia» is the autobiographical novel by Leo Tolstoy published in paperback (204 pages, in Spanish).
Tolstoy recalls his childhood and the awakening of consciousness: games, family bonds, first school experiences, and the passage from innocence to a more bitter knowledge of the world. The narrative unites the child's gaze with the adult's reflection on that time.
Work originally published in 1852. This 1979 edition includes illustrations by Jorge Vives and a translation by Irene and Laura Andresco.
For young readers beginning their journey into nineteenth-century Russian literature and childhood narratives.
Count Lev Nikolayevich Tolstoy, usually referred to in English as Leo Tolstoy, was a Russian writer. He is regarded as one of the greatest and most influential authors of all time.
