«Historias» is the historical work by Gaius Cornelius Tacitus published by Ediciones Clásicas in paperback (400 pages, in Spanish).
Tacitus, a Latin historian linked to the Julio-Claudian and Flavian dynasties, addresses in this book episodes and figures of imperial Rome with intense and meticulous prose. This Spanish translation seeks to preserve the peculiarity of Tacitus's style, with its deliberately difficult and ornate syntax.
Spanish edition published in 1996, translated by José María Requejo Prieto. ISBN 84-7882-249-6.
A work for readers interested in imperial Rome, ancient history, and classical literature.
