«Historias de mujeres» is a biography book by Rosa Montero and Erza Bayda, published by Punto de Lectura S.L. in paperback (248 pages, in Spanish).
The volume brings together biographies of remarkable women, documented but written from a passionate and personal perspective. Among those portrayed are Frida Kahlo, Simone de Beauvoir and the Brontë sisters. Montero presents generous and wicked, brave and cowardly lives, and argues that we can always recognize ourselves in them.
This 2006 edition is an expanded version of the work originally published in 1995 and includes bibliographic references.
For readers interested in biographies, feminist perspective and contemporary Spanish literature.
