«Historias de Sergio» is a children's storybook by José Zafra, published by Editorial Bruño in paperback (160 pages, in Spanish).
Sergio's routines, like eating or going to bed, become the setting for encounters with astonishing creatures. These unexpected visitors have the curious mission of bringing Sergio back to reality, and each story thus plays with the contrast between the domestic and the fantastic.
Illustrated by M.ª Luisa Torcida Álvarez, it is part of the Altamar collection (number 103) and the cover indicates that it won the Lazarillo Prize.
Recommended for readers aged 8 to 10 who enjoy short stories where fantasy appears in everyday life.
