«Holocausto» is the historical novel by Gerald Green published by Círculo de Lectores in hardcover (396 pages, in Spanish).
The novel follows two German families during the Nazi persecution: that of a Jewish doctor and that of a lawyer who joins the SS. Through their voices, the story shows how violence and extermination mark their lives, from clandestine flight to progressive involvement in the so-called final solution, with moments of terror, courage and resistance.
Translation from English by Rosalía Vázquez. The work «Holocaust» was originally published in 1978; this Spanish edition is from 1979.
Recommended for readers interested in the Second World War and in novels that approach the Holocaust from different points of view.
