«Hooray for Fish!» is Lucy Cousins' illustrated children's book, in paperback with DVD (Walker Childrens Paperbacks, 40 pages, in English).
The protagonist, Little Fish, swims along the seabed introducing his friends: spotty fish, stripy fish, happy fish, grumpy fish, hairy fish and all sorts. The rhyme, in English, combines watery onomatopoeia with vivid illustrations and a rhythm designed for reading aloud.
The DVD edition includes the animated adaptation of the story produced by King Rollo Films, narrated by Emilia Fox and with original music. The DVD is region 2 PAL.
For early readers and for family viewing; its simple rhymes and visual vocabulary make it useful in children's English classes.
