«Huida al Norte» is the novel by Klaus Mann, published by Ediciones Cátedra in paperback in 1991 (288 pages, in Spanish).
The novel follows Johanna, a young German militant in the Resistance against Nazism who flees to Finland to avoid arrest. Taken in by her friend Karin at a family estate, she becomes involved in an impossible love with Ragnar, Karin's brother. Written in 1934, it is one of the early works of German exile literature.
