«Hundertwasser: Inventer la ville» is a children's art book by Rémi David, published by A dos d'âne editions in paperback (63 pages, in French).
The Austrian artist Hundertwasser, painter, architect and ecologist, championed architecture in harmony with nature. The book covers his rejection of grey postwar blocks, the 'Manifeste de la moisissure' against rationalism, and projects such as the Hundertwasserhaus in Vienna, where wavy lines, color and vegetation transform housing.
Part of the Des graines & des guides collection and includes illustrations by Thomas Tessier.
Aimed at young readers aged 8 to 12 interested in art and architecture.
